Delays at Gravel Hill diversion after lorry get stuck
Delays are building up at Arrowsmith Road after a lorry became stuck trying to avoid roadwork congestion at Gravel Hill.
The large lorry became stuck on the popular short cut, between Gravel Hill and Queen Anne Drive, around 10.30am.
Dorset Police said the road had been marked as not suitable for HGVs, and that the lorry is attempting to reverse but progress is being hampered by queuing traffic.
