POOLE Town Football Club could be staying at its current stadium for another three years.
The Borough of Poole planning committee will today be discussing plans to extend the lease at Tatnam.
Councillors will also be discussing a proposal to alter the site, at the west end of the playing fields associated with Oakdale Junior School, which will include a new ‘boardroom’ building.
In July the Dolphins’ vice-chairman Chris Reeves confirmed talks over a return to the club’s spiritual home Poole Stadium had broken down.
Poole’s ground must meet the Football Association’s B grade by March 31, 2017.
Eddie Mitchell has promised he will continue the fight to find a permanent home for the Dolphins.
The meeting takes place at the Civic Centre in Poole from 1pm this afternoon.
