POLICE are continuing to quiz a man who was arrested on suspicion of murder at the weekend.

Officers were called to a flat in Wessex Road, Ashley Cross at 1.35pm on Sunday after reports of a disturbance.

However, when they arrived at the property, they discovered a man in his 20s had suffered a serious stab wound.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner has been informed.

A 49-year-old man of no fixed abode has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Police say he is still assisting officers with their enquiries.
