TWO people were rescued after their boat capsized in Poole Harbour
Poole RNLI lifeboat were called into action by Solent Coastguard on Monday afternoon after reports of two people in the water at Stakes Buoy in Poole.
The alarm was raised by a Poole lifeboat volunteer who was working in the harbour.
The two people had been out on their Hobie Trimaran which had suffered damaged to its outrigger, causing the boat to capsize in the swell.
When the lifeboat arrived on scene the lifeboat volunteer, working on a vessel nearby, had recovered the people from the water.
They were checked over and despite being cold, were uninjured.
The crew brought the stricken vessel back to Fishermans Dock and landed the casualties safely ashore.
