AN 80-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested after a man was allegedly stabbed in Poole.
Police were called to an address in Kirby Close around 8.57am on Tuesday morning following reports of an alleged altercation and stabbing.
A man sustained a superficial wound to his stomach but did not require hospital treatment.
According to a man who lives close by around eight police cars and one ambulance attended the incident and were parked in Kirby Close and Foxholes Road for at least an hour.
An 80-year-old man from Poole was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, assault, wounding with intent and affray.
He has been released on police bail pending further enquiries until the beginning of July.
A 56-year-old man from Poole was also arrested on suspicion of affray and has been released on police bail pending further enquiries until the beginning of July.
