A woman has been arrested in connection with an alleged serious assault in Poole on Sunday.

Dorset Police were called to Hasler Road, Canford Heath, just before 3pm, after receiving reports of a stabbing.

Two local men, aged 22 and 32, were hurt. One suffered injuries to his upper leg while the other was treated for a hand injury.

Their conditions were not life-threatening.

The 36-year-old woman from Poole was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to cause grievous bodily harm with intent and has been released on police bail pending further enquiries until mid-June 2016.

Detective Sergeant Simon Perry, of Bournemouth CID, said: "I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area of Hasler Road at the relevant time to please call me."
