A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of driving offences after crashing at the A35.
Police were called to reports of a car hitting a tree at the Bakers Arms roundabout after coming off the carriageway.
The male driver, whose age and car make and model is yet unknown, is believed to have been travelling westbound from Poole when the collision occurred.
A female passenger was taken to Poole Hospital with non-serious injuries.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: “We were called to reports of a single vehicle road traffic collision at the Bakers Arms roundabout where a car collided with a tree which was on the roundabout.
“Officers attended and a man was arrested on suspicion of driving offences.
“A female passenger was taken to Poole Hospital but her injuries were not deemed to be life-threatening or life-changing.”
