Police in Hamworthy are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a pink and green 16ft Isla Skiff was stolen from its moorings.
The incident happened between Sunday, August 30 and Sunday, September 20 just off the public slipway at Lake Road.
The sails were not onboard the boat, which is described as having a cream interior and pine seats.
Police Sergeant Katie Harvey, of Hamworthy Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “I am appealing to anyone who may know the whereabouts of the boat, or who perhaps witnessed any suspicious activity in the area in recent weeks to contact me.
“I would also ask for people to remain vigilant. Please report anything relating to the sale of a boat matching this description on 101. All calls will be treated in strict confidence.”
