A RECRUITMENT day is to take place at Poole Lifeboat station on Saturday from 10am until 2pm.
RNLI volunteers are needed for a variety of different roles.
Currently, all lifeboat crew are volunteers, as well as members of 'sea safety' and 'visits' teams, fundraisers, Poole Old Lifeboat Museum helpers, marketing and sales promoters and more.
A spokesperson from the charity said: "Our volunteers are special people who want to make a difference.
"Just like RNLI lifeboat crew, all our volunteers are ordinary people doing an extraordinary thing – giving something back to their community for free."
Anyone wishing to get involved is invited to the event, and the spokesperson said: "No matter what your interest is or experience you have, we have something for you and anyone interested in volunteering to help Poole lifeboat will be extremely welcome."
