POLICE have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to after a 16-year-old girl spotted a mobile phone in her changing room at the Dolphin swimming pool.

Officers have today released this image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident, which took place at the Everyone Active Leisure Centre in Poole on Wednesday, April 15, at around 3.30pm.

Police say the 16-year-old girl was getting changed when she saw a mobile phone appear twice under her cubicle.

Police Constable Neil Wallis, of Poole police, said: “Following enquiries, I am now in a position to release a CCTV image of a man I would like to speak with as I believe he may be a potential witness and can help with my investigation.

“I would urge anyone who recognises the man or has any information about this incident to please contact me.

“All calls will be treated in strict confidence.”

Rob Slocombe, General Manager at Everyone Active Leisure Centre, Poole, said: “The privacy and safety of our members is extremely important to us and we are taking this matter very seriously.

“We are working very closely with Dorset Police to provide them with as much information as possible for their investigation.”
