POLICE have appealed for help to trace a shoplifter who walked out of John Lewis with a duvet and pillow without paying.
Officers have released a CCTV image and hope the woman pictured can help them with their inquiries.
The incident took place at approximately 5.22pm on Tuesday May 12 at John Lewis at Home on Redlands Retail Park in Poole.
Police Constable Chantelle Gosney, of Poole police, said: “Following my investigation, I am now in a position to release a CCTV image of a woman I would like to speak to.
“I am appealing for anyone who recognises this woman or has any information about this incident to please call me on 101. All calls will be treated in strict confidence.”
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 quoting incident number 12:268. Alternatively, call the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where mobile phone tariffs may apply.
