A SIGNAL failure at the four-way traffic light junction at Cabot Lane and Broadstone Way has now been resolved.

The problem was reported to Poole council at 11.20am. A traffic signal engineer and Siemens engineers were on site to fix the issue, which was resolved shortly after 1pm.

A council spokesperson said: "We can confirm that the problem with the traffic signals at this junction has now been resolved and the signals are operating normally. Thanks for your patience during this time.

All traffic signals at the junction were turned off while repairs were being carried out, and the council were encouraging motorists to take care and slow down when approaching the junction.

An on-site engineer said: "There was a fault with the Siemens system technology but the junction signals are all fixed now. There was no particular issue with traffic and cars were moving slowly as they manoeuvred through the site."
