A MAN was left with cuts to his face at the weekend following an alleged assault outside a Poole High Street pub.
The 54-year-old was reportedly attacked by another man with a pint glass in front of the Brewhouse Pub around midnight on Saturday. Police say a number of people were present at the time and have urged witnesses to make contact.
Detective Constable James Taylor, of Poole and Bournemouth CID, confirmed: “I believe five or more people were in that area at the time and I would ask them to come forward so I can establish exactly what happened.
“Witnesses and anyone with information should contact Dorset Police as soon as possible.”

- A 38-year-old Poole man was arrested on suspicion of assault and released on police bail pending further enquiries.
