FATHER Christmas and his helpers will be touring the streets of Upton on their way to sing along at the Community Carol Service.
The event takes place on Wednesday December 10 with residents urged by Lytchett Minster and Upton Town Council to come out of their houses and wave him on his way. Santa will be beginning his journey at 6.20pm at Pony Drive going along Palmerston Road, Meadows Drive and Dacombe Drive, Heights Road, Douglas Close, Blandford Road, Yarrells Lane, Sandy Lane, Moorland Way, Pinewood Road West to Dorchester Road, finishing at Upton Cross at 6.55pm.
The Community Carol Service at Upton Cross at 7pm will be led by the Rev Jean de Garis and feature Upton Infants School Choir.
The event will be followed by refreshments and entertainment at St Dunstan’s Lounge.
