MOTORCYCLISTS enjoyed a sunny evening for the second Poole bike night of the season.
BLD Dream Machines on Poole Quay saw hundreds of bikers and spectators in attendance and it was Paul Maple from Blandford who won the Bike of the Night title on his black and silver Honda Valkyrie.
The judges for the evening on Tuesday were the Mayor and Mayoress of Poole.
Cllr Phil Eades chose the bike because he felt it stood out from the rest. Paul has owned the bike for 13 years and said it is “the best Honda made”.
Paul rode home with a race kit courtesy of Muc-Off, plus a Bike of the Night mug.
He will also be invited to take part in the ‘Bike of the Year’ finale at the end of the season, with cash prizes on offer for the top three places.
Season armbands can be bought from the Welcome Centre on the quay for £7.50.
