A MOTHER of two with multiple sclerosis, will be jumping out of a plane on June 24 to raise awareness of the debilitating condition.

Rebecca French, 37, a part-time NHS worker who lives near Blandford, was diagnosed with MS four years ago.

“I want to raise as much awareness as possible and money to hopefully find a cure,” says Rebecca, who has raised hundreds of pounds for MS research over the past few years.

“This will be my third and final jump as I’ve had another bad relapse recently.

“Now the right side of my mouth and face has gone numb. It feels just like having an injection from your dentist but it doesn’t go away.

“It is pretty nasty feeling but my motto has always been, ‘I have MS but it will not have me!’ “Although it is hard sometimes, I have my two daughters and the love and support of caring friends and family which keeps me going.

“I have raised £210 so far and I would like to say a huge thank you for those donations but it is hard to raise money in this climate so any support is very much appreciated.”
