POLICE are investigating a theft from a resident's post box in Sturminster Newton.
The incident was first reported to police on Friday, April 27, when the victim - a woman aged in her 70s - noticed fraudulent activity on her bank account.
It is believed that someone had intercepted a bank statement from the post box at the end of her driveway and then attempted to order a new bank card.
An image of the suspect was captured on a CCTV camera, which overlooked the post box .
Police Constable Ian Schofield, of North Dorset police, said: "I am issuing an image of the suspect in the hope that someone can identify him.
"If you recognise this man, please contact Dorset Police or call Crimestoppers anonymously."
