BURGLARS targeted two North Dorset pubs on the morning of Saturday, April 28.
The till was ripped from the bar at the Carpenters Arms pub in Sherborne at around 5.15am. Cash was then stolen from within.
During the same morning, the Rose and Crown pub in nearby Bradford Abbas was also raided. Burglars broke in sometime between midnight and 7.30am and stole spirits, a music system and charity collection boxes.
PCSO Mark Jones of Sherborne Rural Neighbourhood Policing Team has called for witnesses who may have seen suspicious activity at either pub that morning to get in touch.
Anyone with information about the burglary at the Carpenters Arms should contact police via dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting 28:0087.
Those with information about the Rose and Crown break-in should use incident number 28:0108.
