A MOTORCYCLIST was seriously injured after a crash in North Dorset on Thursday afternoon.
The biker was riding a Honda motorcycle on the A354 at Cashmoor, near Blandford, when the bike was involved in a collision with a Peugeot 206 and an Audi A3 shortly after 1.05pm.
The motorcyclist was badly hurt, although his injuries are not currently believed to be life-threatening or life-changing, police say. He was taken to Salisbury District Hospital for treatment.
The bike is registered to a man from New Milton.
The road was closed until around 3pm while officers investigated the scene.
A spokesperson from The Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said fire crews based in Cranborne and Blandford also attended.
"There was one casualty on scene being attended to by ambulance service, with the fire service assisting," the spokesperson said.
