WIMBORNE: Residents are invited to enjoy a Beautiful Butterflies walk with Keith Powrie on July 29 at Knoll Gardens, 11am-12.30pm. Free event but pre booking is essential. Donations to the Knoll Gardens Foundation welcome. To book call 01202 873931

EAST DORSET: Get healthy and have some fun by joining one of the Parley health walks. They take place from 10am every Wednesday leaving from the Parley Country Club in Christchurch Road, followed by coffee and biscuits.

WIMBORNE: Herbalist Kate Scott will lead a walk around Knoll Gardens on Saturday, July 15. After the walk, a workshop on herbs that can be used to treat common ailments will take place. For more information, or to book tickets, email kscott703@btinternet.com

STANPIT: Keep fit, make friends and have fun at Fit For Life classes at Stanpit Village Hall. Over 50s can enjoy sessions on Fridays at 2.15pm. Details from 01425 274733.

HIGHCLIFFE: Wild Horses Line Dance Classes for beginners and improvers take place at Highcliffe Sports and Social Club in Lymington Road at 8pm on Mondays. £3 a session, all welcome

CHRISTCHURCH: Ballroom and Latin American dancing takes place at Priory Hall in Princess Avenue every Saturday from 8pm.

LANGTON MATRAVERS: Swanage & Langton Matravers Folk Dance Club is looking for new members. The club meets Tuesday evenings, at 7.30pm, Langton Matravers Village Hall, until July 18. It will then restart on September 5. Beginners and visitors are welcome. Call 01929 421 913.

CHRISTCHURCH: Pay as you go Pilates classes are held at Priory Hall in Princess Avenue, Christchurch, at 7pm on Tuesdays. Fifty minute classes cost £5 per session. More details from Linda on 07928 749311.

BOURNEMOUTH: A ‘Healthy Heritage’ event is to be hosted by the Stour Valley Local Nature Reserve and Kingfisher Barn Visitor Centre. You can get active and healthy by joining the Stour Valley Supporters

Volunteer group. If you are interested, you can meet the group at the Kingfisher Barn Visitor Centre tomorrow at 10am.
