Competition entries are a scarecrow bunch

WORZEL Gummidge would feel at home in Sway this week.

In all, 35 scarecrows have been created for a competition, which will be judged by people who pay 50p for a programme.

The winner will be announced at the carnival fete on Saturday.

• The carnival procession will leave the Jubilee Field at 7pm on Friday.
