‘I’M NOT even going to think about another row.’

That’s the verdict of world-record breaking rower and one-part of the Ocean Brothers team who secured their place in history by completing an epic 3,000-mile voyage across the Atlantic.

Half-brothers Greg Bailey, 27, and Jude Massey, 19, were cheered on by hundreds as they rowed into Lymington Yacht Haven on Friday.

Their astounding achievement was marked in the special homecoming party as they were greeted by the town mayor Cllr Barry Dunning as well as friends, family and supporters.

Last month, the pair, dubbed the Ocean Brothers, arrived in Barbados after taking 53 days to complete their gruelling journey from Gran Canaria.

The trip saw Jude claim a Guinness World Record as the youngest ocean rower to cross any ocean in a team of two.

He told the Daily Echo: “Seeing so many people turn out was so overwhelming.

“Seeing all the familiar faces for the first time in Lymington really filled us with emotion.

“When we arrived on land there was just a euphoric feeling and we saw how much local support there was for us.”

Jude added: “I’m definitely going to something like this again but I don’t think it will be rowing.

“I found the isolation the most difficult part of the row but I can’t even think about rowing again - even though Greg is.”

So far the pair have raised more than £88,000 for the British Skin Foundation following the death of Hampshire businessman Peter Massey - Jude’s father and Greg’s stepfather.
