POLICE have released e-fits of two youths they would like to speak to after a man was assaulted in Ringwood.

The incident took place on Southampton Road near the main bridge over the A31 at around 7.30pm on Thursday, October 12.

A 42-year-old man was assaulted by up to six people, leaving him with injuries that required hospital treatment.

One of the offenders is described as white, aged around 13-years-old and of average build.

He is around 5ft tall with noticeably round lips and had short dark hair. He was wearing a black baseball cap and spoke with a local accent.

The second suspect is a white male, aged 14 to 16-years-old and between 5ft 5ins and 5ft 8ins tall.

He had thick stubble and short spiky black hair. He was possibly wearing a white and blue checked shirt and spoke with a local accent.

Police are also looking for a third person who was aged 14 to 16-years-old and of a smaller build than the other two.

He had a round face and was wearing a hat or cap and a tracksuit that was possibly grey or blue.
