MOTORISTS suffered delays in both directions on a main road due to broken down vehicles on Saturday lunchtime.
Two separate incidents took place shortly after one another in the New Forest.
Lane one of the westbound A31 was blocked before Picket Post from around 11am.
The vehicle was cleared around half an hour after reports of the incident were made.
A second vehicle broke down on the eastbound A31 at A338 Salisbury Road/B3346 Mansfield Road.
Lane one was blocked at the Ringwood turn off around 12.30pm causing a building up of traffic.
The vehicle was removed and all lanes re-opened at 12.45pm.
