POLICE are seeking the owners of a haul of stolen jewellery.

The collection, believed to have been taken in burglaries across Dorset and the New Forest between December last year and August this year, includes diamond rings, gold and silver chains, earrings and bracelets.

It was recovered in several operations by officers from Hampshire Constabulary. Much relates to 'Operation Hawk West', while many items were picked up on June 19 this year. Among other locations, officers found a number of items at second hand shops in Bournemouth.

Contact Police Staff Investigator Helen Mills at Southampton Central Police Station on 101 if you recognise any item.

Proof of ownership will be required.
