THE New Milton Town Show take place this weekend, with the thrills and spills of street racing screeching into the town centre.

More than 100 classic cars will be on display at the event on Saturday. The vintage cars are provided by the Three Counties Classic Car Club and will be on show at the Recreation Ground.

A large fun fair including inflatables, rides and trampolines will be available for children.

Additionally, many commercial and community group stalls, a refreshment tent, a bar and barbecue will be on the Recreation Ground to suit everyone of all ages.

There will be entertainment throughout the afternoon on the Saturday, largely provided by the well-known local Group – “Dog Ruff”.

On Sunday, the ever-popular Pedal Car Grand Prix, which is held on a one kilometre road track in the centre of town, with over 40 cars racing over a two hour period.

The event is put on for the community and any profits raised are used to support local youth groups and activities.

The show opens on Saturday at 10am and closes at 4pm, whilst on Sunday the day runs from 10am through until the Pedal Car Prize Giving ceremony at approximately 4:30pm.
