RESIDENTS in New Milton have until Friday to have their say on proposals for new homes.
A neighbourhood plan survey has been distributed to all households asking for residents' thoughts about how many new homes there should be and where they should be allocated.
It follows a similar plan carried out last October when the community was asked for its say on the 930 homes proposed by New Forest District Council. In that survey more than 400 people took part - the majority of whom called for more affordable homes and town centre regeneration.
Julia Stamper, chair of the New Milton Town Partnership, said: “There are important decisions to be made regarding the amount and type of homes needed in New Milton and where they should be built - so we urge everyone to have their say.”
The survey can be completed online at visiting newmiltonplan.org.uk. Completed printed surveys should be returned to the New Milton Town Hall.
Survey forms will also be available from the town hall and library.
