A WOMAN was rescued after being stuck up to her waist in mud at a New Forest beauty spot.
Two fire engines attended the scene at Hatchet Pond near Beaulieu at 9.15am yesterday (Friday) after reports that the woman could not free herself.
One engine came from Beaulieu and the other from Hardley.
After being rescued she was given treatment by South Central Ambulance Service.
