Police are appealing for anyone with dash cam footage to come forward following a burglary at a house near Ringwood.
An 18-year-old woman was in the house on Ringwood Road between 11am and 11.30am on Tuesday, September 13, when she heard noises.
She saw a man dressed in motorcycle clothes and helmet, who then fled the house and escaped over a fence.
The woman also saw a red motorcycle, possibly a 125cc, parked at the entrance to the driveway. Nothing appears to have been taken.
PC Lawrence McKenna from Lyndhurst Police Station said: “I’d like to hear from anyone who saw a red motorcycle in the area that may have been travelling erratically or off road.
“Also we’d like to speak to anyone who has dashcam footage or has found an abandoned motorcycle.”
If you saw anyone suspicious in the area at the time, please call 101 quoting 44160345546. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 and leave information anonymously.
