EASTENDERS star Danny Dyer married his long-term partner Joanne Mas in the New Forest  - and got a congratulations from an unexpected fellow celebrity.

None other than Jeremy Clarkson accidentally turned up as the couple tied the knot at Chewton Glen.

It was reported that the former Top Gear presenter had planned a quiet weekend in the Hampshire countryside but was amused when he "ended up walking onto the set of Eastenders".

Dyer, 39, who plays pub landlord Mick Carter on the soap, told his Twitter followers: "Sleep. It Just don't wanna know tonight. It's being right tricky."

Posting a snap of sheep wearing sunglasses, he added: "Counting these. I'd rather shear em. Mugs."

Meanwhile, the couple's daughter Dani, 20, posted a snap of her mother wearing a dressing gown with the word "bride" on the back while preparing for the big day.

Dyer's co-stars Kellie Bright, Maddy Hill, Danny-Boy Hatchard, Linda Henry and Luisa Bradshaw White were joining him on his special day, alongside actor Ray Winstone, Dyer previously told Hello!

The actor told the magazine: "I have been a typical man about the wedding, I have left it to the missus.

"At this stage I am just a guest. I don't even know the postcode."

Mas said the theme comes from the fact her father is from Majorca, saying: "There will be a Gypsy Kings-type band, flamenco dancers, tapas, paella and sangria - and I am still working on Julio Iglesias!"

The couple are also expected to pay tribute to Dyer's East End roots and love of West Ham football club.

Mas said: "He is the most cockney person I have ever met but I don't want him to come dressed as a pearly king.

"I may get some bubble machines though and insist that everyone sings (West Ham club anthem) I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles."
