FOREST Forge Theatre in Ringwood presents Nude, a new play about love and fate – written by south coast based playwright Paul Hewitt this Friday, June 24 and Saturday, June 25.

The critically acclaimed production comes to the Forest Forge Theatre for just three performances following its four-star run at the Hope Theatre in London.

Influenced by The Ruba’iyat of Omar Khayyam, this poem-turned play is an exploration of two people’s love for one another and how fate might play its part.

Love grows and fades, nearly always involves two strangers and, like life itself, is almost entirely unexplained.

Fate, here, is personified. Fate is someone we all know. Michelle Fahrenheim plays Woman, Edward Nash plays Man and Roshni Rathore plays Fate.

Nude is directed by Ian Nicholson. Nude was first commissioned by Apples & Snakes and was produced by Element Arts as a part of the SO: To Speak Festival 2015 where the play premiered in a 20ft shipping container in Southampton.

Celebrating its 35th birthday this year, Forest Forge Theatre is one of the UK’s leading small-scale touring theatre companies, creating professional productions for its New Forest theatre and taking them out on tour across the south.

From its Ringwood home, Forest Forge has thriving youth theatre and runs specialist creative learning, education and outreach projects throughout the local community.
