Hundreds of people, young and old, flocked to the popular event at the country park this weekend.

Touted as the biggest railway event of the year, visitors were able to enjoy the spectacle of traction engines, visiting locomotives, exhibitions and more.

Around 50 visiting miniature and full size traction engines were on display as well as classic cars, fire engines, military vehicles on display.

There were also model railways and model engineering displays at Moors Valley's Kingsmere Station.

All available engines were put on over the weekend to ensure passengers could enjoy the service.

Jim Haylock, owner of lines, said: "It has probably been the best event in 20 years.

"Just everything has been great; the turnout, the exhibits, the weather has been brilliant.

"It's been a really successful weekend."
