The 44-year-old was walking along an underpass in a New Forest town at around 6.20pm on Sunday, April 3, when he saw two men, one of whom approached him and asked for the carton of milk he was carrying.

When he refused he was attacked, suffering a bruised eye, before the men fled empty handed.

Hampshire Police detectives investigating the attempted robbery, which took place at the junction of Wellworthy and Ampress Lane in Lymington, have released an efit image in an attempt to track down the culprit.
