Hundreds of people came out of to look see horses and hounds ride out across the New Forest countryside for the Boxing Day hunt.
Families put on their wellies and winter jackets to brave the strong winds at Bolton's Bench near Lyndhurst from where the New Forest Hounds set off.
They had changed location from Balmer House Hotel in Brockenhurst to allow more room for people to see the event in safety.
People from across Hampshire and beyond came to watch the annual festive-period event.
Dr Graham Ferris, secretary of the hunting group said: "We've got hundreds and hundreds of people here. It's a good turn out.
"People have been saying to me that it wouldn't be Christmas without seeing the hunt on Boxing Day. It's a very traditional part of Christmas."
He added: "We moved because we thought it would be safer to the hounds and horses and spectators with a bit more room between them. It's just lowering the risk. We've never had any problems, it's just to err on caution.
"We're grateful to the Balmer Lawn Hotel, where we have been for many years, for the hospitality that they have offered us."
