Driver rescued from overturned car near Ringwood
A WOMAN was rescued from a car after it came off the road between Avon and Ringwood late on Tuesday evening.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue crews were called to the scene at the junction of the B3347 Ringwood Road and Dragon Lane at 9.30pm, where they found an overturned car which had veered off the road and ended up in a ditch.
A spokeswoman for the South Central Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 9.30pm to reports of a road traffic collision to a car turned over on the B3347.
"We sent one rapid response vehicle and one ambulance crew. They were at the scene treating one woman. We conveyed her to Bournemouth hospital with minor injuries."
