FOUR arrests have been made after items were stolen from people at a party in New Milton by uninvited guests.

Hampshire Police said that they were called to a party in a field at Bashley Common at 1am on Saturday, August 22.

A spokesman for the force said that "several uninvited people had turned up and stolen items" from party-goers.

The group stole mobile phones, cash, debit cards, several items of clothing and a watch worth £155.

The party was organised via Facebook, police said.

Four people, all male, between the ages of 15 to 22, have been arrested in relation to the incident.

They have since been released on bail until October 27, pending further enquiries.

DC Ratcliffe, from the Western Investigations Team, said: “Please be reassured that this is an isolated incident. At this time we are looking to speak with anyone who was at the party who can provide us with more information about what happened.”

Police are urging anyone who was at the party to get in contact via 101, quoting reference 44150291231.
