THE murder trial of Pennie Davis has been adjourned for another day.

After hearing briefly from one witness, Matthew Painter, the jury were told that a question of law would mean that the case could not progress any further today.

The case is expected to resume tomorrow morning.

Pennie, 47, was killed on September 2, last year as she tended her horses in a field at Leygreen Farm near Beaulieu.

A post mortem revealed the mother of five from Blackfield died from multiple stab wounds.

Justin Robertson, 36, of no fixed abode, denies murder and conspiracy to murder.

Samantha Maclean, 28, of Beech Crescent Hythe, denies conspiracy to murder.

Benjamin Carr, 22, of Edward Road, Shirley, denies conspiracy to murder.
