TWO people appeared before Winchester Crown Court yesterday in connection with the death of mum of five Pennie Davis.
Benjamin Carr, 22, of Edward Road, Southampton, and 28-year-old Samantha Maclean, of Beech Crescent, Hythe, are accused of conspiracy to murder.The dates of the alleged offence are between August 1 and September 3.
Following a 10-minute hearing Judge Keith Cutler remanded the pair in custody to appear for a plea and case management hearing on December 18 where they will be joined by Justin Robertson, 36, of no fixed address, who has been charged with Mrs Davis's murder.
Leanne Doyle, 24, of Beech Crescent, Hythe, will also appear on that date after being charged with assisting an offender and perverting the course of justice.
Mrs Davis, 47, was found stabbed to death while tending to her horses in a field near Beaulieu in September.
