Burglars steal garden furniture from seven properties in one Wimborne street over the course of a week

In just a week, officers for Dorset Police were called to seven reports of the offence in Pottle Walk, which lies on the Water's Edge development.

Each time, offenders stole garden furniture.

A spokesperson for the Wimborne Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "The team is conducting increased patrols, with colleagues out of the area also assisting us.

"We're very grateful for any calls that we receive informing us of any suspicious activity.

"This helps us build a picture of when these crimes are occurring."
