FERNDOWN'S biggest babies will take part in an unusual charity challenge this summer.
A pram race in aid of the John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation will take place at the King George V Playing Field at 3pm on Saturday, June 23.
Participants will push a 'baby' in a pram 1.5km, with activities and tasks to complete along the way.
Competitors must be aged over 16. Teams can be made up of between two and five people, including a baby and at least one pusher.
The event is part of Fete on the Field. An admission fee of £10 per person is payable on registration.
Prizes and trophies are on offer for the winners.
