FURTHER roadworks are due to get going on the A31 this week.
Highways England will be carrying out maintenance on street lighting in the Canford Bottom area starting on Wednesday, February 21.
The A31 eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight from the Canford Bottom junction to the Ameysford roundabout.
The closures, from 9pm until 6am, will last for three nights, with a diversion marked via Ferndown.
Highways England is carrying out an extensive road improvements programme on the A31 between its junction with the M27 in the New Forest and the Bere Regis roundabout, having secured a blanket traffic order allowing it to close sections of the road at will over the course of the year.
