AFTER a year long hiatus, Dorset’s family-friendly Larmer Tree Festival will be back for its 27th year in 2018.

Last year festival organisers said they needed to take a year off in 2017 to, “fully refresh both creatively and personally”.

A limited number of tickets are now on sale priced at £165 for a standard ticket, £110 for 11-17 year olds and under-tens are free.

The event which will run from Thursday, July 19 to Sunday, July 22, is one of the UK’s long standing festivals thanks to the combination of its stunning location, varied line ups and breadth of activities on offer.

Set in the Victorian gardens of Cranborne Chase, an area of outstanding natural beauty nestled between Dorset and Wiltshire, Larmer Tree Festival is described as “an intimate delight for festival-goers of all ages”.

An eclectic line-up in 2016 included the likes of Tom Odell, The Stranglers and Jamie Cullum, as well as a star studded comedy stage and plethora of family activities.

Creative director, Sarah Dennehy says :“We are incredibly excited about Larmer Tree’s return in 2018.

“I’m proud to be part of this remarkable festival and look forward to announcing my first Larmer Tree Programme in 2018.”
