POLICE were called to search for a missing 15-year-old boy from the Ferndown area on Tuesday.
The teenager had last been seen near to his home address at around 3.45pm.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said he was reported missing at 5.25pm.
A search was carried out in the Ferndown and West Moors area with assistance from the NPAS helicopter.
The boy returned to his home address voluntarily at around 9.25pm.
