TRAFFIC is building on the A31 after a manhole collapsed near Corfe Mullen.
The road is partially blocked both ways at Mill Street, near to the Coventry Arms junction.
Congestion is building towards the A350 Poole Road at Roundhouse Roundabout and the B3078 Wimborne Road at Lake Gates Roundabout.
Contractors are on route and police warn that they will probably need to set up temporary traffic lights while repair work is carried out.
