Delays on A31 after crash and road closed in Merley
POLICE have been called to a crash involving two cars and a tree in Merley this morning.
Officers were called to Oakley Lane at 7.08am following the incident between a Ford KA and a Vauxhall Astra.
The road is blocked by debris from the tree, and the council have been called to clear the road.
One man has suffered a head injury, although it is not yet known how serious this is.
Recovery is at the scene.
Police are also dealing with a crash on the A31 at Uddens Drive involving three cars.
Traffic is able to get past but there are minor delays.
