WIMBORNE'S famous pancake race will take place once again on Tuesday, February 28.
The event will take place for the 20th time since its revival in 1998 after an absence of 16 years.
Participants should meet outside the main entrance to the Minster church at 10.30am to enrol, armed with frying pan and ready-cooked pancake.
The first race will begin at 11am as the pancake bell is tolled.
There are categories for adults and children, with prizes awarded to the winner of each category.
If there are entries, organisers will also host a wheelchair race. The winner of this race will receive a bag of wild bird food donated by the Wimborne Pet Centre.
Competitors will dash around the Minster, tossing their pancakes at the four corners of the church.
All are welcome to take part.
