A MAN has been arrested after a crash near Wimborne.
Police were called to the scene of single car crash involving a white Volkswagen Golf on the B3078 at around 3.55am this morning.
It took place near Cuthbury Close on the edge of the town, the force said.
The driver of the car was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not thought to be serious.
A man in his 40s, local to the area, has been arrested on suspicion of driving offences.
The coastguard helicopter assisted officers with a search of nearby fields in the aftermath of the crash.
