MAGISTRATES have issued a warrant for a man charged with driving offences after an alleged hit and run.
Ashley Hughes, of Rockley Road in Poole, was due to appear at Bournemouth Magistrates' Court on Friday, December 23.
The 28-year-old is charged with driving while disqualified, using a motor vehicle on a road without insurance, failing to stop after a road accident and failing to report an accident following an incident in Macaulay Road, Broadstone on September 30.
Police were called to the road at 2.50pm after an 81-year-old pedestrian, Winifred White, suffered serious injuries following an alleged collision.
Ms White was taken to Poole Hospital.
Hughes was arrested on October 2.
He did not appear at court for a first appearance and magistrates issued a warrant without bail.
