1. Fred Melling, 80, a retired company director from West Parley said: "I'm concerned about Brexit and immigration, in a positive way, because we shouldn't have gone out of the EU and there are a lot of immigrants doing great work. I want them to be safeguarded."

2. Helen Major, 48, a funeral directors owner from Christchurch said: "It's a difficult one because it's focused on Brexit. The business rates have gone up, I think for Christchurch they should be put down because a lot of local shops have been forced to close."

3. Alison Miller, 43, a finance assistant from Southbourne said: "My issues to focus on are education and health, I've got a son starting his GCSEs and none of us are getting any younger! I want less money spent abroad and more spent at home on education and health."

4. Janet McKeever, 68, a retired shop owner visiting Christchurch said: "The youngsters are losing out all the time, a lot of elderly people are better off than they'll ever be. Youngsters will never get on the housing ladder, I would like to see that addressed!"

7. Hazel Stephens, 79, a retired care assistant from Southbourne said: "I want Brexit to be pushed through and steadied. Like all elderly people I'm concerned about pensions and the NHS. I feel very lucky to live in this country and trust Theresa May to get on with things!"

8. Philip Rees, 49, who is self employed from Christchurch said: "Brexit is a big issue, it's what the election is all about! Also, the NHS, transport systems and schools have issues with underfunding. Public services shouldn't be underfunded."

9. Elaine Rees-Rockey, 54, a yoga teacher from Christchurch said: "Absolutely Brexit. It's also about finding stability and readdressing our cultural values and identity. I'm concerned we might lose our countryside and rural areas, as well as the NHS as it's in dire need of a restructure. We must go forward as a united front."
