A TUNISIAN bazaar will arrive in Christchurch creating a traditional North African shopping experience next weekend.

Visitors to Saxon Square on Friday July 30, Saturday July 31 and August 1 will be able to browse the traditional Tunisian Souk Market, with traders selling a variety of goods including jewellery, a collection of poetry and ceramics and an extensive variety of carpets.

There will also be a selection of calligraphic copper/brass trays and personalised ash trays as well as leath-er goods and food, including couscous and barbecued sausages cooked on typical Tunisian Kanouns. The market will take place from 9am-5pm on each day.
